A new proposal for a willbeing lifestyle! LinNe”, a small orin that creates

Many people may enjoy yoga, meditation, or reading to regulate their own minds.

In this issue, we would like to introduce LinNe’s small rin as an item that supports time to enrich your life.

When you hear the word “orin,” you may think of a golden bowl used by monks to ring an orin. In fact, the sound of an orin used as a Buddhist altar has a calming charm. The secret to enriching your life by using an orin in your daily life is contained in this item.

Let’s take a look at the little-known world of the “Sabari Orin” produced by a long-established workshop in Kyoto specializing in narimono.

LinNe” from the Nanjo Workshop, which has been in business for more than 200 years.

LinNe is a brand of narimono products made of an alloy called “sahari. Each piece is handmade by craftsmen at the Nanjo Workshop, which manufactures Sabari narimono.

Founded in Kyoto over 200 years ago, Nanjo Kobo has been producing orin used as Buddhist ritual utensils. It is the only workshop in Japan that specializes in the production of narimono, preserving the craftsmanship that has been cultivated over the course of history.

We want people to enjoy the sound of the Sabari Orin more easily.”

LinNe was born from the desire of a craftsman who loves the Sabari Orin.

The “Sabari Orin” that produces a unique tone.

The “Sahari” is an alloy of copper and tin. It has long been valued in Shinto rituals and for warding off evil spirits, and was even used in the treasures of the Shosoin Repository.

LinNe uses sahari processed in the same ratio that has been passed down from generation to generation in order to enhance the quality of the sound.

The sound produced by LinNe’s orin is so beautiful that the mind is free of evil thoughts. The sound that accompanies the heart changes the way one feels depending on the person who hears it.

It calms the mind.
It clears my head.
It motivates me.

The sound of Riori Saba will add a rich moment to your busy day of work, housework, and childcare.

The color of the Sabari alloy will change over the course of the user’s life, becoming deeper and more distinctive. The aging process is another thing to look forward to.

World-class craftsmanship! Unique Craftsmanship

Our craftsmen and women continue to take on daily challenges to enrich people’s lives at Sabari Oride.

We want people to have more contact with the orin in their daily lives.

LinNe focused on creating the ultimate tone to give shape to this desire. The result of this continuous search for the ultimate tone was a traditional construction method that has become the only one of its kind in the world.

We design every aspect of the manufacturing process, including materials and methods, while trying out sometimes labor-intensive and inefficient methods.

For the sabari used in orin making, we insist on a unique formula that contains more tin than usual. This is because it increases the vibration rate of the orin and creates a beautifully resonant aftertaste.

However, this formula requires skilled craftsmanship.

Everything from mold making to finishing is done by hand. Despite the time and effort required, we use the sintered casting method to bring out the best characteristics of the material.

The process of casting by firing is a manufacturing method in which molds are handmade from clay and fired in a kiln. The clear, high quality tone is produced by the high quality flame that only wood can produce.

Craftsmanship and knowledge have been cultivated in Uji, Kyoto over a period of more than 200 years. With this one-of-a-kind foundation, new world-class items are sure to be born.
